District Health Review Meeting cum launching of diarrhea campaign was held at CMO’s Conference Hall Dimapur on July 1. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Limatula Aier, Chief Medical Officer Dimapur.
At the meeting, Nilotoli, CHO Pimla and Vitonu Savi, CHO Deizephe presented the services provided under Health and Wellness Centers and also their respective HWCs’ annual performance reports. They also shared the challenges they faced while executing their duties.
Programme officers such as Dr. Antoly Suu, Nodal Officer for CMHIS/PMJAY, Dr. Benchilo, District TB Officer, Dr. A. Kavito Zhimomi, District Surveillance Officer and District Programme Officer (Vector Borne Diseases), Dr. Lhishelo Tsuhah, Zonal Leprosy Officer and Nodal Officer of Non-Communicable Diseases, Mecievinuo, Consultant, DAPCU, Esther Thirah, DPM, NHM Dimapur highlighted the activities covered during the first quarter of the Financial Year 2024-25 and passed on important information and other upcoming activities.
During the launch of the “Stop Diarrhea Campaign”, Dr. Rebecca, District Programme Officer for UIP and RCH presented the activities to be carried out during the campaign period.
She informed that this year the campaign will last for two months viz., July and August under the theme “Stop Diarrhea through Hygiene and ORS”.
She further informed all health units to install ORS corner in their respective health units which will include ORS packets, Zinc tablets, clean drinking water, five glasses and spoons, soap and wash bucket, MCP cards and leaflets.
