Following the Supreme Court’s directives to all States to ensure removal of stray dogs from the premises of hospitals, educational institutions etc., the state government has issued a set of directives to all educational institutions/hostels (both government and private) to comply with at the earliest in the interest of children safety, security and health.
In a notification, principal director school education, Shashank Pratap Singh, has directed heads of all schools functioning within the state of Nagaland to comply with the government directives and submit Action Taken Report (ATR) to the office of the principal director school education on or before December 17, 2025 without fail.
It stated that a scanned copy of the signed ATR in PDF file format shall be submitted through the Activities tab provided at the DoSE Online School Monitoring Portal https://school.dosenl.in/.
As the matter pertains to complying with the directives of the Supreme Court and time bound, the department has informed all responsible to accord priority and strictly adhere to the given timeline.
