STRY on winter vegetable cultivation ends

A six-day training on “winter vegetable cultivation” for Skill Training of Rural Youth (STRY) under Sub-Mission on Agricultural Extension (SMAE) National Mission on Agriculture Extension and Technology (NMAET) conducted at Yuching village concluded Saturday.

In a press release, Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Mon informed that resource persons for the training were horticulture officer, DHO, Mon Imnuksungba, deputy project director, ATMA, Mon I Nuchet, HEA Mon Minching and farmers friend Yuching village, Ngepshai. 

The resource persons spoke on nursery bed preparation, nursery bed management, integrated pest ad nutrient management and conducted hands on training at field on cultivation of winter crops. 

Later at the plenary session, special guest, deputy Ahng of Yuching, Khowang Ahng thanked ATMA Mon for conducting the training. The session was chaired by deputy project director ATMA Mon N Subenthung Odyuo.
