Following the alleged assault of a B.Com student by cadres of NSCN/GPRN-K (Khango), and the subsequent press release by the Commissioner of Police Dimapur on October 24, NSCN-K (Khango) has discharged the three members from active service.
In a press note, the MIP said that the individuals were identified as Phushito Yeptho, Vikiho Aye, and Akheto, all leacys. They have been removed on grounds of defamation towards the NSCN/GPRN government, MIP stated.
Henceforth, NSCN-K (Khango) said that the membership of the discharged individuals was no longer valid, and they will bear no responsibility within the government.
