DIMAPUR: Students of MGM, Higher Secondary School Dimapur carried out a “Poster Campaign” against all form of war and aggression in the world.
According to principal of the school, Reji Abraham, more than 60 students from Class 4 to 11 took part in the campaign by creating posters and collages expressing their concern on the miseries and destruction caused to human due to wars.
Vice-president of the School, Rev. Fr. Dr. P.S. Varghese, in his message to the students and faculty said that peace and reconciliation were the need of the hour.
Addressing students, principal Reji Abraham urged students to keep their eyes and ears open to see and hear not only the good things happening around but also to see and hear the miseries and pains of people, especially during a war.
He said that students need to be sensitive towards issues concerning the world and should learn to react to it.
He congratulated all the students for their participation in the poster campaign.
