Twenty students from Kohima, who were on a 10-day National Integration Tour organised by Assam Rifles, reached Shillong and interacted with the Governor of Meghalaya, Phagu Chauhan, at Raj Bhavan, Shillong.
According to PRO Defence, during the interaction, the Governor highlighted the significance of national integration and mentioned that young people play important role towards building strong and united India. He also encouraged children to pursue their dreams and make most of their educational opportunities. During interaction, Governor appreciated the spirit and ideology of Army working towards the up-liftment and betterment of the populace in remote region of India.
