Students of DMI St. Joseph Global School demonstrate talents in art & crafts

As part of a two-day co-scholastic activities like work education and art education, DMI St. Joseph Global School was throbbing with art and crafts product-making activities galore on January 30 and 31. 

A press release from DMI St. Joseph Global School principal stated that under the guidance of Art and Crafts coordinator of the school, Tolino V Zhimomi, children were asked to bring the required materials for making the art and crafts, for which three periods each were assigned on two consecutive days for making products at school. 
On the first day, bottle decoration with recyclable materials for girls was held and on the second, day art and craft making activities were held in which children enthusiastically participated making traditional art and craft materials ranging from bamboo products, tapestry, photo frames, colourful designs of various kinds, glass painting, paper crafts, ice-cream sticks craft, jute bags, flower vase to pen stand.  The coordinator said activity such as this will tap the inherent creativity of the children. Besides, it boosts motor-skills, concentration, and performance of the children in studies as well, she said. 
Principal Backiyaraj T said that CBSE has directed all schools to incorporate more activities and two periods as part of the curriculum for art education for every class.
