
Hundreds of students (class 8-12) on the concluding day of the Students’ Spiritual Conference on Friday at Jalukie have decided to boldly live for Christ after responding to the call of the sermon.
The conference concluded with the unfurling of SSC flag by state Chaplin, Rev. Kuzierang Thou.
During the conference, students were guided about youths and relationship, identity in Christ, Enjoyment worldly and spiritually, Youth Challenge to global leadership, Crucial relationship between parents and children, science and God, and today’s youths problem the parents must know. A separate seminars for teachers and parents was also conducted during the conference.
President Cross Wonder Ministries, Nagaland, Rev. Ketou Theünuo, who is also the president of the team Nagaland for Students’ Spiritual Conference, president leaders for Christ Intl. USA, Rev. Dr. Tseibu Rutsa and senior pastor Baptist Mission Church, Kohima, Rev. Moa Londchari administered heart renting messages about what Jesus can do to our lives if we surrender our life to Him.
In the valedictory service SDO (C) Rhosietho Nguori expressed gratitude to the organizer and said that the conference was meaningful and “purposeful investment”. The words of God was shared by Rev. Ketuo Theünou. The main focus of the conference was to save the next generation for a true ‘Nagaland for Christ’.
Earlier, parliamentary secretary, Higher Education, Deo Nukhu Day graced the second day of the students’ spiritual conference (SSC) at Jalukie as special guest on March 31.
According to DIPR report, Deo Nukhu narrated at how he began his life with the church as a student and called upon the students to pursue quality education with sincerity, honesty and commitment to become successful. He urged the students to involve in church activities as it was the best time to build up their lives.
Resource person Rev. Dirang Lungalang spoke on the topic “enjoyment: worldly & spiritually” while Andrew Ahoto spoke on the topic “youth challenge to global leadership”. Other speakers included Rev. Dr. P. Dozo who spoke on the topic “crucial relationship between parents & children” and Rev. H. M Gonmei spoke on the topic, “today’s youth problems, the parents must know”.
