Sub-committee of Family Conseling Centre (FCC), Care and Support Society (C&SC) held its first quarterly meeting for the year 2019-20 at C&SC office premises on June 18.
A press release from C&SS managing director, Imchawati Kichu stated that, the meeting discussed on issues of non accessibility of shelter home for HIV positive children in the state run by government of Nagaland.
Meeting also pondered on the need for healthy family environment in the district with regards to saving habits, health consciousness and broken family. Therefore, it was decided to conduct sensitization programme and create awareness about these problems through seminars, penal talk, radio talk etc. Committee also felt that churches could play a vital role on those issues
The meeting was attended by SDPO, Mokokchung, OC Women Police Station, Mokokchung, Watsu representative, counselor FCC and managing director, C&SS.
