Sümi Hoho annual session held

Sümi Hoho annual session, “Baghi Hoho 2018” was held on July 8 at Zunheboto Town Hall.
Amongst 11 Sümi legislators, including MP Lok Sabha, two ministers, five advisors and two opposition MLAs turned up for the prayer service.
The first session was chaired by Vihoshe Muru, vice president, Sümi Hoho and Vinoka K. Rotokha, media affairs secretary, Sümi Hoho as the secretary for the session. 
A prayer ceremony to invoke blessings upon the Sümi legislators was held in the first session.
Hekhushe Shikhu, president, Sümi Hoho gave the welcome address where he congratulated the successful candidates while urging them to work with sincerity and dedication for the Nagas.
The ministers, advisors and MLAs who attended the service were G. Kaito Aye, minister, Agriculture & Cooperation; Jacob Zhimomi, minister, PHED; K. Tokugha Sukhalu (IAS Rtd.), advisor, School Education; Tovihoto Aye, advisor, Power; Pukhayi Sümi, advisor, FCS, LMCP and NSDMA; Kazheto Kinimi, advisor, Skill Development, Labour & Employment, CAWD; Khehovi Yeptho, advisor, Tourism, Art & Culture; Vikheho Swu, MLA; and Er. Picto Shohe, MLA.
DC Hill Colony presented a special dedication song in the session, while Rev. Yevito Zhimo, Sr. Pastor SBCZ said the invocation for the session. Nikheto Jimomi read out the “Sümi Kukümüsü” for the gathering. Copies of the “Sümi Kukümüsü” were distributed to the legislators as well all the invited delegates, Kukamis and Village Council Chairman from all Sümi area representatives, and Town GBs of Zunheboto town.
The prayer service was conducted by Rev. Dr. Daniel Chishi, pastor, ZTSBC, which concluded the first session.
After a lunch break, the 2nd Session was chaired by Hokishe Kiba, treasurer, Sümi Hoho, while Nitovi Assumi, secretary, was the session secretary.
Toppers and subject toppers of HSLC/HSSLC were felicitated and given cash awards. The Sümi Education Committee chairman, Vihoshe Muru felicitated all the successful candidates who appeared in the examination, congratulating and wishing them the best for their educational careers while commiserating with candidates who failed the examination. He also read out the resolution passed by the Sümi Hoho to the unanimous approval of the gathering.
Nikheto Jimomi, general secretary, Sümi Hoho read out the annual report, while Hokishe Arkha, former Sümi Hoho, president, pronounced the benediction on the Baghi Hoho, 2018.
