Support the fight against racism: NPMHR unit

Reacting to COVID-19 pandemic panic that has stoked racism against the people from North East in many cities across the country, the Naga Peoples’ Movement for Human Rights (NPMHR), Delhi unit has urged all responsible to extend help and solidarity to people in need or in distress.

In a press release, Naga Peoples’ Movement for Human Rights Delhi unit stated that people with different and distinct racial features being discriminated against was not only wrong, but affected the dignity of a person and a people. “This should be dealt with in all seriousness and severity,” the rights body said and extended solidarity to all affected by such incidents.
Further, seeking help to fight racism by reporting and standing up for those who cannot, the NPMHR Delhi unit said “We believe that together we will be able to fight all three- pandemic, panic and racism.”
