Sutemi village library inaugurated

Sutemi village library was inaugurated by additional director of New and Renewable Energy, Nagaland, Er. Kavito Chishi as chief guest at Sutemi village on the occasion of Sutemi Kughuko Lhothemi Kuposhukulu Hoho-cum-Sutemi students union combined annual session held on December 29 and 30.
A press release by convenor organizing committee, Steve Chophy stated that Er. Kavito encouraged the students and the youths to strive towards building a positive blended society.  He urged upon them to be more committed and dedicated in their life to fulfil one’s ambition. He also expressed happiness to the organizers for taking the initiative to bring together the youths and students of the village for a good cause and stated that positive changes was imminent in the society with such initiatives. Terming competitions getting tougher with each passing year, he called upon the student community to stay focused in their pursuit of success with hard-work and dedication.
The release further stated that library was a collaborative initiative of the youths of Sutemi village and the 5 Assam Rifles (AR) Zunheboto and was first of its kind in the village as well as that of Akuluto area. Books were contributed to the library project from likeminded individual, groups, friends and youths of Sutemi village and also by the 5th Assam Rifles Zunheboto. Library was open to all the students, youths and citizens of Akuluto area. 
Meanwhile, the sports session which was held on the second day was graced by Maj. Vikash Singh as guest of honour and home guards and civil defence, Zunheboto district commandant Khenito Chishi as theme speaker. Emphasizing on the topic “Gaining on the edge” Chishi encouraged the students in particular and youths in general to be skilful, hardworking and be willing to take risk in life. 
The programme further highlighted an exhibition football match between the AR XI and student XI, which was won by AR XI.
