The Seyochung Village Council (SVC) on March 10, 2016 held an emergency meeting and passed some resolutions.
A press release by head GB Seyochung village, Chothrise Sangtam and chairman Seyochung Village Council, Chokhaba Sangtam stated that individual or group wanting to enter or visit Seyochung village shall have to be identified or shall have to obtain prior permission from village authority or be informed through district administration. It also resolved that individual or group found trespassing shall be doing so at their own risk, while the SVC also appealed public to cooperate and bear the inconvenience so as to create congenial atmosphere and to avoid unwanted incident.
