Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) campaign was organised at Government High School (GHS) Sitimi Town on April 28.
The campaign was led by Kiphire district SVEEP campaign icon, Litila Sangtam, who stressed on “One Person One Vote” and the right to vote.
She also encouraged eligible youths to vote and be involved in transforming the election system for a better society. Sangtam also encouraged the students to vote for the right candidate.
Teacher in-charge of Government High School Sitimi, Atingse Sangtam acknowledged the organizers; short animation movies also projected during the programme relating to importance of adult franchise. Voter’s pledge was also filled up by the participants.
