St. Xavier College (SXC) Jalukie under Peren district was awarded the “one district one green champion award” under Swachhta action plan 2020-2021 during an online workshop programme, organised by Mahatma Gandhi national council of rural education, department of higher education, ministry of education on August 3 at the chamber of the deputy commissioner (DC), Peren.
According to a DIPR report, DC Peren Sentiwapang Aier handed over the award to the principal and students of St. Xavier College, Jalukie.
It may be mentioned that the award is presented to educational institutions that have proactively participated in maintaining a hygienic campuses.
