Sirhima Youth & Students’ Union celebrates golden jubilee

Sirhima Youth & Students’ Union (SYSU) celebrated Golden Jubilee on December 19, under the theme “Half a Century: Towards a Limitless Future”, reflecting the organization’s aspirations for a brighter tomorrow.


According to a DIPR report, special guest, president of Kuki Inpi Nagaland, L Singsit, IPS (Retd.), emphasized the importance of prioritizing goals and objectives to achieve success and encouraged youth to dream big, persevere through hardships, and make conscious decisions. L Singsit also unveiled the jubilee monolith.


Guest of honor, president, Kuki Students’ Organisation Nagaland (KSON), Thangjamang, released the anniversary souvenir and in his speech urged youth leaders to serve their community with love and dedication. He also appealed parents and elders to continue to be supportive towards the progress of the youths in the society.


Highlights of the programme included cultural dances by SYSU Cultural Troupe, presentation by, general secretary, SYSU, Chongboi Singson, and Jubilee song by SYSU.
The jubilee night session, the culmination of the celebration was graced by social worker, C. Singson, and director ADP, SAP Application Support APAC, Global Portal and Workforce, Seikhongam Haokip, as special guest and guest of honor respectively.
