TaFMA observes World Art Day

The Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), Nagaland, observed World Art Day at Toyota Ki, Kisama, on April 14, bringing together young and aspiring artists from various schools across the state.
Gracing the inaugural programme, TaFMA chairman Theja Meru underscored the importance of nurturing creativity and artistic expression among the youth. He encouraged young artists to remain committed to their craft, stating that art serves not only as a medium of self-expression but also as a powerful tool for cultural preservation and storytelling.
He further urged participants to explore their unique artistic identities, experiment with diverse forms, and draw inspiration from their roots and surroundings. Stressing the role of discipline and perseverance, Meru noted that consistent practice and passion are key to growth in any artistic journey.
Reaffirming TaFMA’s commitment to promoting emerging talent, he assured continued support in providing platforms and opportunities for artists to showcase their work and gain wider recognition.
The programme featured interactive sessions, creative displays, and active participation from students, who showcased their artistic skills and interpretations, making the celebration vibrant and engaging.
