Talk on ‘local level conflict resolution’

A talk on “local level conflict resolution and dialogue” was organised by Peace Channel on August 12 at AG Church, Walford and Mt. Carmel Parish, Dimapur.

A press release by Peace Channel (PC) stated that in the introductory address, Caroline Leisan appreciated the women of the churches for their constant interest in peace mission and promoting the same in personal and community lives.  Speaking as the resource person, PC project coordinator Veyito Nyekha asserted that it was a personal duty of every individual to adopt, practice and promote peace with oneself, within families and communities.

Faced with the critical times and mounting issues in families and communities, Nyekha said families are in need to reflect and retrospect on certain aspects.

Altogether, more than 50 women leaders and elders attended the programmes.
