Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. has clocked record sales during this year’s Dhanteras and Diwali period, with the company expecting to deliver over 25,000 vehicles across India.
According to the company, sales witnessed close to 30% growth during the two-day Dhanteras period alone. Commenting on the occasion, Chief Commercial Officer Amit Kamat said that deliveries this year were spread over two to three days in line with auspicious mahurats.
He noted that overall demand remained strong, further boosted by the GST 2.0 reform, which provided positive momentum to festive season sales.
