Thetsümi Baptist Church (TBC under Chakhesang Baptist Church Council, Phek district) observed its 75th gospel anniversary from December 29 to 30, 2015 with the theme “God is our strength”.
On the occasion, the new church building was dedicated by general secretary FNBA, Rev. Dr. V. K. Nuh.
The monolith commemorating the 75th gospel anniversary was unveiled by executive secretary CBCC Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo on December 30, 2015 and accompanied with release of balloons, 75 trumpeters in action and septuagenarian above solemnly walking into the church.
The anniversary celebration souvenir was released by executive director KBCA, Rev. Prof. K. Lasuh.
Rev. Dr. V.K. Nuh shared on the word of God based on 1Timothy3:15 “The Church and the Living God”, Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo spoke to the congregation on the theme “God is our Strength” (Psalm 46:1) and pastor PTBC, Rev. Dr. Neingupe Chiero dwelt on the meaning and significance of the topic “Make Disciples of All Nation” (Matt. 28:19)
NLA speaker Chotisü Sazo acknowledged the greeting on behalf of the in-laws where executive director CWWS, Vechüloü Kanuo represented the sisters.
The church members also confessed their sins and short-comings of the past and pledged to read and stand firm on the Word of God daily, to sponsor missionaries by each and every family with zeal and to make Christ the Lord our strength.
Chairman of 75th gospel anniversary celebration, Rev. Dr. Kevekhalo Lasuh on behalf of the Thetsümi Baptist Church invoked God’s blessing and acknowledged all the represented churches, in-laws, sisters and well-wishers for their support and participation.
