The church road at Midland, leading to AG via PWD (lower) and Chandmari (lower) had been a great cause of concern due to its deplorable condition.
A press note by chairman of Midland Panchayat Kohima, Visa Meru and other senior citizens
stated that at such a juncture, the pastor of Tangkhul Baptist church and his fellow church members had rendered selfless service by repairing the road at their own expenses on August 25 and 26. It stated that the Tangkhul church had set a great example to the residents of the colony as well as the department concerned. In this light the Midland Panchayat extends gratitude and deepest appreciation to Tangkhul Baptist Church members for their extra ordinary contribution and setting true example of being Christians.
