TBC unveils centenary monolith

The centenary monolith of Tsarü Baptist Church (TBC) centenary was unveiled by Rev. C. Lima ES, USBLA on June 14. 
A press release by media & documentation team, TBC, said that Lithrongla G. Chishi, secretary & commissioner while addressing the congregation stressed on the need to conserve the environment and make use of the rich natural resources to maximize income generation.
As part of the celebration, Sangtam Naga Children Bible was launched by Rev. Dr. Z. K. Rochill, senior auxiliary secretary, BSI Dimapur. He said USBLA was the sixth tribe in Nagaland to have children Bible for which he congratulated the association.
Speaking on the theme “Jesus, the light of the world”, Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, general secretary NBCC said, Tsarü being the first community to celebrate 100 years of Christianity was like a hotspot for the ENPO area. But hotspot cannot be connected without a password, therefore he urged the community to pass on the password (light) to others so as to ignite the unlit souls.
Others who spoke included K. Supong pastor Longsa Baptist Arogo, N. Bendang Rtd. secretary PHED, Rev. I. Apila executive secretary TNBA, K. Asungba Sangtam ex-MP Lok Sabha and K. Yonghopi Sangtam president USLP. Tsarü fellowships Mokokchung, Tuensang, Dimapur and Chare town presented special songs.
Rev. Dr. T. Yanger convener, planning committee on behalf of the community has thanked all the speakers, ordained ministers and churches under USBLA, other church associations, delegates, etc in making the celebration a success.
