Team Nagaland shines at 4th National Arm Wrestling C’ship

DIMAPUR, MAY 2 (NPN): Representing the state under the Arm Wrestling Association of Nagaland (AWAN), Team Nagaland delivered an impressive performance, winning multiple medals at the 4th National Arm Wrestling Championship held in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad from May 29 to June 2, bringing together top arm wrestlers from across the country.
Avilie Zuyie secured gold medal in 100 kg Youth Right Arm, gold medal in 100 kg Youth Left Arm and Champion of Champions in youth category. Vethozo Lohe bagged gold medal in 85 kg Senior Right Arm. Seyievil Vitsu secured bronze medal in 75 kg youth category.
The Team Nagaland contingent comprised Kishore Sonar, Mekato M. Yeptho, Subhadeep Mukherjee, Inamul Rahman, Aryan Borah, Anontho Kumar Koch, Karan Singh, Seyievil Vitsu, Avilie Zuyie, Vethozo Lohe and Kevilhou Kevin Chasie.
The Arm Wrestling Association of Nagaland congratulated all the athletes for their dedication and outstanding performances. These achievements reflected the growing strength of arm wrestling in Nagaland and serve as an inspiration for aspiring athletes across the state.
