Technology innovations showcased at TXG Expo Nagaland

DIMAPUR: The inaugural day of TXG Expo Nagaland held on August 28 at NBCC Convention Hall, Kohima, featured a range of indigenous technologies and innovations, including drones, robotics and creative learning solutions.
According to DIPR report, the Nagaland GIS & Remote Sensing Centre, under the Department of Planning & Transformation, showcased various drones designed and assembled by the Centre. A hexacopter drone, used for vaccine delivery during the COVID 19 pandemic, was among the key attractions. The stall also featured FPV drones, a replica interceptor drone and a live demonstration of drone operation, highlighting their control and capabilities.
The NagaBots stall also drew attention with its display of technology based products and innovations, including a robotic arm demonstrating sketching, drones, creative learning toy kits, 3D printed keychains and other accessories.
Established in 2021, NagaBots is a technology and research enterprise specialising in robotics and coding. According to its representatives, the enterprise provides training and education, research and innovation, incubation support through the NagaBots Incubation Centre, and electronics supply solutions.
