Tali Temjen Toy IAS (NL: 89) incumbent addl. chief secretary & Finance commissioner has been appointed as Chief Secretary, Nagaland with immediate effect vice R. Binchilo Thong (IAS), Chief Secretary.
Binchilo Thong who took over as CS on August 24, 2018 has been transferred as Director General, Administrative Training Institute Kohima, a DIPR report stated.
Temjen Toy shall also hold additional charge of Finance commissioner till further orders.
It may be mentioned that Toy took over as officiating CS after then chief secretary Pankaj Kumar went on deputation to the Centre as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India. Temjen Toy took over as officiating CS on March 17 last year and handed over charge to R. Binchilo Thong on August 24, 2018.
