Tenyimi Union flays attack at Civil Hospital

DIMAPUR

The Tenyimi Union Dimapur, Chümoukedima, and Niuland have strongly condemned the February 24, 2025 incident at the Government Civil Hospital, where a young woman was physically assaulted by an employee of the concerned department.
In a press statement, the union questioned the absence of security within the hospital premises, calling it a failure on the part of the authorities to protect civilians even during daylight hours. The union urged the government to take swift action, book the culprit, and ensure justice for the victim and her family. It also demanded that the identities of those involved be made public to prevent such acts from recurring.
Further, the union warned that any delay in delivering justice would make the government accountable. It assured full support and cooperation to the victim and her family until justice is served.
