DOT Talks in collaboration with Tetso College and in continuation of its lecture series conducted the first webinar on the topic “The short story – A reappraisal” on April 20, with Dr. Ananya Ghoshal, assistant professor of English in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at IIT Indore as resource person.
A press release from Tetso College stated that, purpose of the talk was to provide an insight into the literary genre of short stories with an emphasis on its structure, elements, formats, techniques, etc. of storytelling. The second DOT Talks webinar titled “Cultivating positive mental health during the COVID-19 Pandemic” was held on April 23 with assistant professor of Psychology Nouzhienino Peseyie, Tetso College. He disseminated practical and theoretical information on how to cultivate positive mental health in order to prevent anxiety, worry, and depression, and help the individual be an asset for one’s family and society. The next webinar will be held on the topic “Legal implications of Covid-19” on April 28 to be presented by Dr. Aniruddha Babar, assistant professor of Political Science, Tetso College.
