A thanksgiving programme for minister of Agriculture & Co-operation, G. Kaito Aye was held at his residence at Satakha on Thursday.
A press release from PS to the minister, Aaron Jimomi, stated that Kaito in his speech extended his sincere gratitude to party workers, GBs, public leaders, well-wishers and electorates under 36 Satakha A/C. “Success is no accident, it is hardwork, perseverance, sacrifice and most of all love of our people”, he stated. Kaito also thanked Church leaders and different prayer groups for their unceasing prayer support.
The minister stated that the present PDA government in the state would last for the full term and he urged the public to cooperate with the government as its policies and programs were pro people. Kaito thanked God and credited his victory to Him stating that “man can only propose to achieve something and toil towards the achievement but only God determines the end.”
In the meeting, JD (U) Party of 36 Satakha thanked the chief minister, Neiphiu Rio for inducting G. Kaito Aye into his cabinet and for assigning him the Agriculture & Co-Operation Department portfolio. The prayer of blessing and thanksgiving was pronounced by Jasper, associate pastor women Satakha Town Baptist Church, short speeches was delivered by Vitoho Jimo ex. candidate, Hekiye Jimo ex. chairman Area Council, Toshiho Jimo GB Xuivi, Vishiho Jimo, Ghukiye, Kaito Jimo GB Thakiye, Mughato Jimo GB and Kakuto Shohe public leader. The programme was chaired by Hewoto Chophy, working president JDU Satakha, Ghoihe Tsuqu, associate pastor youth STBC invoked God’s blessings, Edward Muru delivered the welcome address, and Vihuto Jimo gave the vote of thanks. The benediction was pronounced by Nipato Shohe, pastor Khukiye-Lukhai Baptist Church.
