‘The Midnight’ lights up Nagaland with stellar performance

In a night filled with retro-futuristic vibes and pulsating beats, US synthwave sensation “The Midnight” mesmerized audiences in Nagaland with a captivating performance at the Noune Resort in Chümoukedima on Thursday night. The event also marked a significant highlight of their India Tour as they brought their unique sound to eager fans in the region.


The Noune Resort was packed with music enthusiasts gathered to witness the band’s electrifying performance.
The Midnight lived up to expectations, delivering a show that transcended mere entertainment, immersing the audience in a musical journey. With their signature blend of nostalgic synth melodies, lively bass lines, and strong vocals, the band created an atmosphere that was both exhilarating and nostalgic.


Frontman Tyler Lyle’s charismatic stage presence deeply resonated with the crowd, forging a powerful connection, while Tim McEwan’s masterful production skills brought their music recordings to life, filling the venue with electrifying energy. The addition of saxophone to the band’s lineup added further charisma and enthusiasm to their performance.


The crowd echoed along with the band on their hit songs, including “Los Angeles,” “Brooklyn,” “Sunset,” “Gloria,” and “The Comeback Kid,” among others. The visual aspect of the performance was equally stunning, with strategic light shows and visuals complementing the music.
Renowned bands from Nagaland, including Trance Effect and Tune up Channel, along with Delhi-based DJ Nida also enthralled the crowd.


Beyond the captivating musical performances, attendees also had the opportunity to indulge in a variety of cuisines, with 15 to 16 food stalls set up at the venue. The event was managed and organized by LiveNow Events, adding to the seamless execution and overall success of the night.
