The Kohima Baptist Pastors Fellowship, Church Body of the capital of Nagaland, would like to take this time to highlight and revisit the mighty work God has done on the 30th of November 2025 at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima during the gathering under the theme “Nagaland United: A Gathering of Hope, Faith and Revive organized by Kohima Baptist Pastors Fellowship (KBPF) in collaboration with Nagaland Baptist Church Council and Nagaland Joint Christian Forum. Thanks be to God for providential intervention in times of dire need.
We convey our deep appreciation to all the churches regardless of denomination, the Nagaland State, organizations and the public for readily extending valuable support and co-operation to make this gathering a grand success. In this digital age, social restlessness, rapid human upheaval, brokenness in the families, and spiritual hunger, our God’s divine and timely act is evident,
The Nagas genuinely long for spiritual renewal and shower of God’s blessing in our land and God has done mighty work in our midst. In spite of the chilling cold winter it was an immense joy to see people wrapped themselves in warm shawls & coats immersed into listening of God’s word.
The KBPF also extends our gratitude to Rev. Dr. Franklin Graham, the President of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, one of the greatest Charitable Organizations in the world. The believers in Nagaland are deeply saddened and regretted that he could not be a part of the gathering this time due to the CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL. Yet, we pray and look forward to having him in the future as the legacy of Rev. Dr. Graham in the soil of Naga people continues and is uniquely historic. The Naga people cherished the memories of 1972 which is also known as The Kohima Field. After 53 years of Rev.Graham’s visit to Nagaland, people continue to view this event as a turning point in the lives of the Nagas socially, politically and spiritually. It brought immense healing in the lives of many in northeast India, especially the Nagas.
We are also enormously indebted to Rev. Dr.Robert Cunville, an associate Evangelist of Rev. Billy Graham, a friend of Naga people and also who played a significant role in 1972 visit of Rev.Graham. His well-timed message from the Bible echoed and lingers in the heart of the believers.
God blessed the 30th evening congregation beyond measure. A throng of 25,000 gathered to worship and hear the Word of God. More than 15,000 came forward in tears to dedicate and rededicate their lives to Jesus Christ. The sweeping movement of the Holy Spirit was experienced amongst individuals, families, society, and people of Nagaland and the state capital in particular with much rippling effect.
The fellowship wants to encourage the attendants to keep your candles burning bright in your corner, touching, multiplying and bringing others to the Truth that our society urgently needs today May there be renewal and reconciliation in families, churches, and social circles. May there be repentance, healing, joy and peace across our land as a result of all of us living in the light of the Truth.
Through this gathering the renewal movement has been ignited and the whole nation has been shaken up from its slumber in a -very significant way and it will continue till it reaches every soul.
The KBPF wishes you a blessed Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
