‘The Mirage Hotel’ opened in Kohima

The Mirage Hotel, a luxury hotel and restaurant located at Razou Point in Kohima, was inaugurated by Temjen Imna Along, Minister of Tourism and Higher Education on April 22.


In his address, the minister praised the choice of the name “The Mirage” noting that it reflected the unique and memorable experience guests can expect. He encouraged the team to excel in hospitality, emphasizing the importance of consistency, commitment, and teamwork.


Highlighting the need for entrepreneurship in Nagaland, he said that success comes from resilience, strong dedication, and treating every guest as a friend. He also underscored the value of collaboration among stakeholders, mutual respect, and perseverance through challenges.


Thejangulie Tsükrü, partner of The Mirage Group, who chaired the event, acknowledged the collective effort behind the project. He recognized the four founding partners and those contributors for their vision.


He informed that The Mirage Hotel currently employs 28 individuals, 90% of whom are local, aligning with its mission to create employment opportunities. He said The Mirage represents more than just a hotel but a testament to collaboration, perseverance, and faith in Nagaland’s potential.


Earlier, the program blessed with invocation by Kezhaletuo Yano, Associate Pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church, Kohima.
