Alternative therapy treatment and training centre Nagaland, a branch of ACU health Centre, was launched at Er Khetovi complex near tooth craft dental clinic, 7th mile, Chumoukedima on Friday.

The center was dedicated by United College of Theology and Mission (UCTM) president Rev. Dr Phuveyi Dozo and graced by Dr. Neikisalie Nicky Kire, former legislators as special guest.

Sharing a brief history of the centre, ACU health care founder Vekriyi Venyo said that the center specializes in Acupuncture, Acupressure (Shiatsu Massage), Reflexology, Hijama, Gua Sha, Moxibustion, Sujok (Hand Acupuncture), Tiens Therapy, and Herbal Medicine to address various health issues.

Established in 1990 as the Rural Health Care Centre in Kohima, ACU Health Care has grown significantly over the years. In 2015, the center was relocated to Naga United Village, Chümoukedima, for better accessibility. With its latest expansion in 2024, the facility aims to provide advanced training and treatment in alternative therapies.

ACU Health Care treats a wide range of ailments, including nerve disorders, stress-related conditions, migraines, arthritis, back pain, paralysis, and sciatica.

The center emphasizes the importance of preventive therapies, which help manage modern-day health concerns like stress, insomnia, high blood pressure, and muscle spasms.
