The much-anticipated Grand Finale of Ticket to Hornbill, India’s Biggest Band Battle 2025 will take place on October 18 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma, near Kohima. Gates will open at 4:00 PM.
Over the past two days (October 16–17), 30 bands from across the country competed in the live rounds at RCEMPA, showcasing exceptional talent, originality, and stage presence. From these performances, eight top bands and one wild card entry have qualified for the final showdown. Finalists: Thunder’s Cave (Meghalaya), Juxtaposed (Bengaluru), Akhanda (Sikkim), Novo (Assam), Panic India (West Bengal), So Humble (Delhi), Mood Station (Mizoram), Stereo Groove (Nagaland), Wild Card Entry: Highlanders (Arunachal Pradesh).
The winner of the competition will take home Rs. 20 lakh, while the first and second runners-up will receive Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 5 lakh respectively. Additionally, the top three bands will earn the opportunity to perform at the 26th edition of the Hornbill Music Festival in December 2025.
The Grand Finale will also feature guest performances by Keduo, African Amakshiu, Peleno, Sunep Lemtur, and K3M. A special felicitation ceremony will be held to honour sponsors, judges, and partners.
Organised by the Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), Government of Nagaland, Ticket to Hornbill remains one of India’s premier music competitions, dedicated to discovering, nurturing, and promoting musical talent from across the nation.
TaFMA has extended an open invitation to music lovers, supporters, and media personnel to witness and celebrate the culmination of this musical journey at the Grand Finale.
