Tinu appointed NHL chairman

Tinu Longkumer, former NPP candidate for the 24-Aonglenden A/C bye-poll, who later withdrew his candidature to support the NDPP-PDA consensus candidate has been appointed as Nagaland Hotels Limited chairman. In a notification dated July 29, principal secretary Lithrongla G. Chishi stated that Tinu has been appointed as NHL chairman with immediate effect. Tinu Longkumer, the brother of the former NDPP MLA Imtikumzuk Longkumer, had filed nominations for the bye-poll to the Aonglenden constituency on a National People’s Party ticket after he was denied an NDPP ticket. However, on March 26, Tinu withdrew his candidature in support of PDA’s consensus candidate.
