Jogeshwar Centre for Research and Excellence (JCRE), an NGO based at Imphal has launched the third phase of free training course on domestic electrification at Wokha in collaboration with a local and voluntary NGO Team Metamorphosis on April 3.
A press release by Team Metamorphosis chief, Thungdemo Kyong stated that Libeno Jami, president of the Lotha Students’ Union (LSU) had encouraged the trainees to be sincere and hardworking. Roshan from JCRE Imphal, program coordinator for the training also gave a brief introduction of the scheme.
The training is from the Ministry of Skill Development Government of India powered by National Skill Development Program and Skill India. The JCRE brought the scheme to Wokha district Nagaland in the month of August 2017 and implemented the scheme in the district with Team Metamorphosis, which has also received the Governor’s Gold Medal in 2017 on Independence Day. The team takes care of all the local arrangements and has already finished the first two batches with sixty youths.
Thungdemo Kyong chaired the meeting, attended by TM members besides the trainees and officials of LSU.
