TNAI supports UTNA demands

Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI), Nagaland branch, has extended its support to the demands of UTNA which was submitted to the government on April 20. The Association stated that the need of post creation and upgradation in all district hospitals CHCs, PHCs should be taken up as genuine matter to solve stagnation and to pave the way for the unemployed trained nurses in the state and to fill up the vacant post in the higher cadre at the earliest.
The Association also requested the concerned department to review the present proposed Nursing Service Rule of 50% open competition and 5% direct appointment as it was against the interest of nurses in general.
Meanwhile, TNAI Nagaland branch has convened a general body meeting on May 19 at 10 a.m. at NHAK auditorium for the election of new office bearers. All the concerned members are requested to attend the meeting.
