
Tobu Area Students’ Union (TASU) has resolved not to entertain any bogus/proxy teachers from this academic session. According to TASU general secretary, Davidson Ngushu, the resolution was adopted at its 35th federal meeting held at Pessao village on January 8.
In this regard, the union has informed all the government appointed teachers and medical staff to be sincere in discharging their duties at their respective posting places. It also discussed for the improvement in health sector. The union also firmly decided to ban the export of timber from Tobu area for commercial purpose with immediate effect.
The assembly was presided by C Hoangkan, speaker TASU in the presence of 13 federating units, including the representatives from GBs Association, KNSK, Timber Union, Konyak Village Council Chairman Union and the veteran leaders of Tobu Area.
Earlier, the programme started with a prayer by finance secretary Pessao Baptist Church, welcome address by president TASU, special number by Pessao Changlu Students’ Union and short speech by Shammaoh, former president Tobu Area Students’ Union.
