A meeting was held with stakeholders and officials of Suruhuto sub-division in the present of Toiho S Yepthomi, MLA, on October 7. The meeting aimed to address various vital aspects for the welfare of the general public in the region.
According to a DIPR report, in his address, Yepthomi expressed gratitude to the district heads of different departments for their prompt attendance. He stressed on the importance of their commitment to their assigned duties, emphasizing their role in elevating Suruhuto as a better sub-division within Zunheboto district. In addition to his call for dedication, the MLA acknowledged the grievances raised by various departments regarding the need for improved facilities and office infrastructures. He assured them of his commitment to taking these concerns up with the government for resolution.
The meeting, chaired by SDO(C) Suruhuto, Trongdiba Sangtam, saw participation of several other key stakeholders, including the Suruhuto Area GB Association, Sumi Totimi Loka Suruhuto, Suruhuto Range Students Union, as well as public leaders and government officials. The gathering serves as a crucial step towards addressing the pressing issues in Suruhuto sub-division, with the collective determination to enhance the quality of life for its residents.
