In a vibrant celebration of talent, confidence, and cultural pride, Tongpang Chang and Kalen Zhimomi were crowned Mr. and Miss Chümoukedima 2025 at a spectacular grand finale held on October 4th at Zone Niathu by the Park.
The event, presented by ROYALAOK in association with Vertex Kia, powered by KINWAN Tea, BN Sound, and Patel Rice Hotel, saw 41 contestants compete in a dazzling showcase of personality, performance, and poise.
The competition drew a large, enthusiastic crowd and celebrated much more than beauty, it was a platform for identity, empowerment, and community representation. In the Miss category, Susana Kinghen and Lydia Shohe were announced as the 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively, while in the Mr. category, Viphresul Natso and Som Komal secured the 1st and 2nd runners-up positions. Winners received gift vouchers worth Rs.15,000 from I&J Saloon and a one-year gym membership from Doubleton Gym.
The event kicked off with an energetic opening performance by the Chümoukedima Dance and Fits Studio and was judged by a panel comprising: Sarah Na-am Konyak Medua (Secretary, BASN), Arinjay Jain (Proprietor, ROYALAOK), and Christy Tsanglao (Proprietor, Makeup by Christy Tsanglao). Adding glamour to the occasion, winners from Mr. Dimapur and Miss East Dimapur made special guest appearances.

Koleno Design added flair as the official designer, while Dikhum Photography and Neikha Film beautifully captured the evening as the official photographer and videographer. Glamorous looks were curated by Tooreechi Jane and I&J Saloon, the event’s official makeup artists.
Behind the scenes, Sanjeev Tamang, the official groomer and choreographer, ensured a seamless and high-caliber production. Contestant managers Jojo Sangtam, Bashing Nyam, and Kilen Naro played key roles in mentoring participants through their pageant journey.
As the newly crowned Mr. and Miss Chümoukedima 2025, Tongpang Chang and Kalen Zhimomi will now carry the district’s vibrant spirit to state-level pageants and other regional platforms, representing Chümoukedima with pride and excellence
