TPO verdict: ZB (AMN), ZMY withdraw condemnation

In view of the good gesture and consideration made by the TPO presidential meeting of July 31, 2024 to Yangkhullen village accepting in principle as affected village in the settlement of Hezing/Kezoltsa/Koziiru/Kazing land dispute, the Zeliangrong Baudi (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) withdrew the previous condemnation served on the TPO verdict.


This was done in good faith and also for the larger interest of Tenymi people, stated ZB (AMN) president K Akhang in a press release.


ZMY: In another statement, Ze Mnui (Yangkhullen) village authority chairman Namkolungbe informed that ZMY has also withdrawn its condemnation of July 12, 2024 verdict by Tenyimi People’s Organisation (TPO) on land (forest) dispute at Hezing/Kezoltsa/ Kortiru/ Kazing.


The presidential council of TPO on July 31, 2024 acknowledged and considered the stakeholder of Ze Mnui (Yangkhullen) village in the settlement of land (forest) dispute in the larger interest and peaceful coexistence of Tenyimi people, it stated.
