State deputy chief minister T.R. Zeliang has extended greetings to all the members of Sangtam tribe on the occasion of Mongmong festival.
Zeliang said that Mongmong festival is an important cultural and traditional occasion in the life of Sangtam tribe as it is celebrated with splendour to mark the onset of harvest season and invoke upon the Almighty for bountiful harvest, prosperity and longevity. He expressed hope that the festival will bring more unity and love amongst the Sangtam tribe and wished a joyous celebration.
