Trade expo underway in Wokha

Touted as the “biggest” trade fair in Wokha with participants from Bangladesh and Thailand as guest countries, the 22-day long sale-cum-exhibition trade expo was Saturday inaugurated by newly elected Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) president, Yanpothung Ezung, here at Public Ground Wokha.
While expressing hope that the expo would foster trade and good business relationship, Ezung appealed the denizens of Wokha to come experience the various offerings of the expo. Diverse products such as books, clothes, furniture, kitchen appliances, electronics, agri machineries, novelty items, paintings, health and wellness products and others will be displayed and sold at the expo.
Food court and mini amusement park for children were also part of the attraction in the ongoing trade carnival.
Earlier, Yentsao Ezung, assistant pastor Wokha Town Baptist Church pronounced the invocation.
The trade fair is hosted by Senior Nobel Klan (SNK) Wokha in aid of the upcoming silver jubilee celebration of the oldest reigning cricket tournament in Nagaland, Winter Cricket Challenge, in 2020-21.
