In connection with the forthcoming Lok Sabha election 2024, Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Nagaland in collaboration with the Election commission of India (ECI) conducted third stage-theme wise training cum evaluation for the State Level Master Trainers (SLMTs) on July 28.
A press release by CEO Nagaland office stated that in his address, ECI principal secretary, Darsuo Thang said India democracy was one of the best functioning democracies and acknowledged the role of everyone involved to make it such a vibrant democracy. He further emphasized on the crucial role of the SLMTs in the entire process.
During the training, the SLMTs were divided into five theme wise groups. The first session included discussion and queries on doubts while in the second session presentations was given out by SLMTs followed by evaluation in the third session.
