Training for DoSE officers, staff underway

Two-day training-cum-interactive session for officers and assistants of Directorate of School Education (DoSE) organised by the department commenced on Friday at SIEMAT Hall, SCERT Kohima.
In a brief address, principal director of school education, Smita Sarangi, said the training was a good opportunity as most of the
officers in the directorate have come from teaching background.
While highlighting the need for the training, Sarangi also urged the trainees to take part in the training with all seriousness.
On the first day, the training was held for the directorate officers with (Retd) additional secretary G. Kevishe Phucho and S.O Law and justice department Andreas as resource persons. The second day will be held for the ministerial staffs of the directorate.
The training was held on filing system/note sheet/PUC, drafting and noting, recruitment rules and general conditions of service, how to initiate pension/GPF final settlement/leave encashment, conduct and appeal rules, preparation of service confirmation and DPC etc.
The programme was chaired by joint director Razouseyi Vese while deputy director Zuboni pronounced the invocation.
