Training for FBOs held for Kohima zone

The Food Safety Administration, Kohima Zone, in co-ordination with FSSAI Empanelled Training Partner M/s Aroma Shiksha Evam Seva Samithi, Korba (Chhattisgarh), organised a Food Safety Training and Certification (FoSTaC) program for Food Business Operators (FBOs) from April 14 to 17.


A press release by Food Safety Administration Kohima Zone Designated Officer (Food Safety), Kezhangulie Yimchunger informed that the training covered the districts of Tseminyu, Wokha and Kohima, and included Food Business Operators (FBOs) from hotels, restaurants, manufacturing units, and home-based food businesses. Dr. Anup Kumar Tiwari, an FSSAI empanelled trainer, led the sessions.


On the final day, State Programme Officer (Food Safety), Dr. John Kemp and Assistant Commissioner of Food Safety, Merenlemba Ao participated on the first session.
