Directorate of Agriculture Kohima conduct one-day training for drivers of Agriculture directorate on September 29 at its directorate conference hall.
A press release by the directorate stated that, additional director of Agriculture C. Peter Yanthan exhorted the drivers to respect their duties, maintain discipline, and to perform well. He also encouraged them to have patience, integrity and devotion to duty as government servants.
Joint director, N. Jacob while highlighting power presentation on the important roles of road safety awareness urged upon the drivers to maintain safety drive and uphold their duty with responsibilities. Yanthan also stressed on the importance of alertness, dress code, personal habits, temperament on road and driving etiquettes. Programme was chaired by N. Jacob and vote of thanks was delivered by assistant superintendent Bendang Toshi. Altogether 30 drivers attended the training programme.
