Training on adding value to fish products

The department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources conducted a training program on Value Added Fish Products for womenfolk on March 29 at CRBC, Zunpha, Tseminyu. 

DIPR reports that district fishery officer Kohima along with her staff, gave hands on training on making Fish Pickle, Fish Cutlet, Fish Finger and Fish Soup, laying emphasis on hygiene, product packaging and food safety measures. 
At the closing program CRBC Zunpha development secretary, Arhunlo Semp thanked the department for organizing the training and also encouraged the trainees to become self reliant by utilizing the skills and knowledge learnt at the training program. 
Altogether 20 trainees participated in the training program.
