Training on ‘agrobiodiversity’

Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Kohima conducted a one-day training programme at Chunlikha village on April 24.

Resource persons for the programme were Puchono Kweho, SMS (Agronomy) and Eliseni Tsopoe, SMS (Plant protection) who delivered on the topic “Agrobiodiversity in Jhum” and “Mushroom production” respectively. In the technical session, Kweho spoke on the importance of afforestation, introduction of leguminous crops, etc and Eliseni Tsopoe stressed on the importance of mushrooms in contributing to the livelihoods of rural dwellers.
