Training on detergent powder making

To promote self sustenance and work culture among recovering friends, Shalom Rehabilitation Centre organized a training programme on detergent powder making at the centre where Kenny and Nano, animators from Development Association of Nagaland were the resource persons.
A press release issued by director of the centre, Fr. Joe Mariadhas, stated that the inmates learnt how to make the detergent power which could be a great help to them in the future if they want to start a small scale production of detergent powder.
Fr. Joe Mariadhas also thanked the resource persons for training the inmates and also to those who had come to learn the process. The training concluded with a lunch sponsored by Home Mart, Dimapur.  It may be mentioned that the training was a part of the rehabilitation programme of Shalom.
