Training on ‘entrepreneurship-cum-skill development’ ends

Six weeks training on “entrepreneurship cum skill development program on handlooms” organised by Weavers’ Service Centre (WSC) – Dimapur, Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Government of India, Ministry of Textiles in association with Branch MSME -Development Institute, Dimapur concluded on November 29 at  Extension Centre, NHHDC Premises, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur.

Special guest of the training, principal secretary, industries and commerce, Lithrongla G Chishi encouraged the new entrepreneurs to venture into handloom sector with the help of WSC so that they could provide job opportunities to other unemployed people.

The programme was felicitated by MD, NHHDC Ltd, Dimapur, Zakabo Rotoka; welcome address was delivered by director i/c, MSME, Er. Tali Lonchar and vote of thanks by deputy director, WSC Dimapur, Dr.V. Sivakkumar/

In the afternoon session, training of trainers pertaining to Samarath scheme (capacity building in handloom sector) was carried out by Dr.V. Sivakkumar.
